Indian affairs faces huge budget cut in Minn.

The Minnesota Indian Affairs Council has fallen victim to budget cuts affecting the entire state government.

The council's $600,000 annual budget is being cut by $22,678, the largest affecting four minority agencies. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is trying to close a $356 million budget gap.
