Bill introduced to return land to tribe

THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2003 A Nevada congressman has reintroduced a bill to return land to the Washoe Tribe. Rep. Jim Gibbons (R-Nev.) said the 32 acres is the tribe's traditional land. It is currently under the control of the U.S. Forest Service. Get the Story:
