Editorial: Welcome Poland recruits

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2002 The Norwich Bulletin in an editorial today supports an effort by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut to recruit Polish citizens to work at its casino. The tribe is bringing 100 Polish workers who are trained as dealers. "Given Poland's unemployment rate and the need here for dealers, this could be the start of a trend helpful to both," the paper writes. Last summer, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation brought more than 100 Polish citizens to work at its casino. Get the Story:
