MONDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2002 The Lakota Nation Invitational tournament will be held in Rapid City, South Dakota, this week. The tournament brings basketball teams from Indian and non-Indian communities throughout the state. But there's also an art show, boxing, a language bowl, wrestling, hand games and other entertainment. Honored guests include Larry Luitjens and Bryan Brewer, who were once rival basketball coaches. Luitjens made history in the 1970s by bringing his team to the Pine Ridge Reservation, where Brewer coached at Red Cloud High School. Get the Story:
