Documentary on Navajo girls team airs

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2002 Rocks With Wing, a documentary about a girls basketball team on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico, debuts on PBS tonight. The film, by Rick Derby, tells the story of the Lady Chieftains at Shiprock High School. The team was struggling until coach Jerry Richardson showed up and led them to stunning victories. Richardson died in a car accident after leaving New Mexico. Get the Story:
