WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2002 "Lou Dobbs Moneyline," a CNN program is running an online poll that asks the question: "Do you believe gambling on Indian reservations should be tax-exempt?" The results of the unscientific poll show that respondents believe the answer is "No." Yesterday, Dobbs interviewed Donald Barlett, editor at large for TIME, about the magazine's recent report on Indian gaming. Dobbs said of the $12.7 billion tribal casino market: "This, a monopoly, taking out this kind of money, it's astounding." A transcript can be found at http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0212/10/mlld.00.html. Barlett is about 2/3rds of the page down. Relevant Links:
