Narragansett Tribe seeks burial protection

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2002 A federal judge has scheduled a hearing today to address concerns by the Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island over a planned sewer dig. The tribe wants to work closely with the city of Warwick to prevent damage to any burial grounds or artifacts. An official said the tribe doesn't oppose the dig but wants it slowed down.
