Deficit forces layoffs at Tanana Chiefs

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2002 The Tanana Chiefs Conference will lay off 10 employees by the end of the year to make up for a $6.5 million budget deficit. The layoffs will save TCC $2.3 million. Other changes to the health care budget will save $4.2 million. TCC serves more than 40 Interior villages. Get the Story:
