Alaska villages no longer dry

Two Alaska villages recently approved the sale of liquor.

Residents of Pilot Station and Atqasuk feel the change will reduce bootlegging of alcohol. But surrounding communities fear a rise in crime and accidents will accompany the new laws.

Atqasuk also authorized bars, liquor stores and nightclubs.
