FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2002 President Bush held a press briefing on Thursday to identify his agenda with respect to a Republican-controlled Congress. Bush said creation of a new homeland security department, confirmation of federal judges, passage of a senior prescription drug benefit and improving the economy were his top priorities. He also said the nation must move forward with disarming Saddam Hussein of Iraq. Get the Story:
