THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2002 Candice Miller, newly elected Republican member of Congress, says she will support a proposed tribal casino in Michigan. The Bay Mills Indian Community and the state came to an agreement on a land swap that will allow the tribe to open a casino on Port Huron. The deal has the backing of state politicians and the state's Congressional delegation but other tribes oppose it. Get the Story:
