Navajo college given full funding

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2002 The Navajo Nation council voted 63-0 to fund Dine College with $2.3 million, The Farmington Daily-Times reported. The funding allows Dine College to keep all of its campuses up and running. The school was in danger of closing two campuses. The council failed to take action on a resolution supporting alternative sources of water for the Peabody Coal mines. The resolution was tabled. Get the Story:
