Jam Master Jay, the DJ for rap superstar group Run-DMC, was shot at killed on Wednesday night.

JMJ's real name was Jason Mizell. The 37-year-old was killed at a recording studio in New York. Another man who was also shot is in stable condition at a local hospital.

According to news accounts, two assailants entered the building and shot the pair. No one had been arrested as of last night.
