TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2002 One of the men being held for the Washington, D.C.-area sniper attacks was seen drinking at bar in a town filled with "hippies, yuppies, militiamen, fishermen, American Indians and tramps," The New York Times reports. But John Muhammad wasn't the only notorious figure to have taken in a few at the Waterfront Tavern in Bellingham, Washington. Serial killers Ted Bundy, the Hillside Stranglers and a convicted murderer also dropped in. "Live and let live," an unemployed patron told the paper. "Of course, we only know after the fact that they're bad guys. I don't know. Maybe we should name sandwiches after them." Get the Story:
