TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2002 The annual report from the British Columbia Ministry of Health Services shows the health of Native people has improved. The report cites a drop in the infant mortality and a rise in overall life expectancy. But it also says the level of health for Native people falls below the general population. Deaths from cardiovascular disease are also high among Natives. Cancer rates were comparable. Get the Story:
