Potawatomi chairman is tribe's youngest

MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2002 At age 29, Zach Pahmahmie is the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe's youngest chairman. Pahmahmie decided to run this past summer at the last minute. He ended up defeating incumbent Badger Wahwassuck. He sees his age an asset and hopes he is a role model for young Indians everywhere. Pahmahmie graduated from Stanford University. He received his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. Get the Story:
