FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2002 Frederick Diaz, a nine-year-old member of the Apache Tribe, is featured in the November-December issue of Scholastic News. Diaz talks about his experience as a pow-wow dancer in the elementary school magazine. The third-grader goes to Cordley School in Lawrence, Kansas, where his mother works for Haskell Indian Nations University. Get the Story:
