The four candidates for U.S. Senate in Minnesota participated in a debate on Thursday night.

The candidates are incumbent Paul Wellstone, a Democrat; Ray Tricomo of the Green Party; Republican Norm Coleman and Jim Moore of the Independence party.

Tricomo, according to The Minneapolis Star Tribune, used "Indian words" throughout the debate. He proposed a prescription drug price-cap for "sacred elders."
