THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2002

A Republican inquiry into the gifts the Clinton family received during President Bill Clinton's term of office shows previously unreported items.

Included is a $9,000 hand-woven Navajo rug dated to 1885. It was a gift from Larry Rockefeller.

The Clintons did not have to report the items because they kept the gifts. Rep. Doug Ose (R-Calif.) wants to restrict gift-giving to presidents.
