FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2002 Robert DesJarlait, an Ojibwe artist and writer, will receive a grant to study Indian communities. The grant was awarded by the Leadership in Neighborhoods offered by the St. Paul Companies. DesJarlait will study traditional child welfare, kinship and tribal enrollment practices. Get the Story:
