FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2002

Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas has run out of grant money to pay tutors so the tribal college is asking for volunteers.

The tutor and mentoring program is supported by a Department of Education grant. It allows for 150 students to participate. The school needs six to 10 additional tutors to keep up with the demand.
