Legislative leaders in Connecticut aren't rushing to repeal a law that allows casino gaming in the state.

But the senate president said he is willing to consider the request because he does not support a third Indian casino. Attorney general Richard Blumenthal wants the state to act quickly, citing a threat of gaming by the newly recognized historic Eastern Pequot Tribe, whose status he is challenging.

Most residents also oppose a third casino, according to two new polls.
