Mohegan Tribe fronting pipeline costs

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2002 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is fronting the cost of a $7 million water pipeline. The tribe will end up sharing the costs with four towns and a utility. Its share will amount to $1.7 million. The coalition plans to apply for a state permit by January. The pipeline will serve the tribe's reservation and local communities. Get the Story:
