Ariz. race tracks want rehearing

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2002 The race track industry plans to ask for a rehearing of a case challenging the validity of tribal gaming compacts. If a rehearing isn't accepted, the tracks plan to appeal to a higher power. "We'll seek a review at the (U.S.) Supreme Court, if that's what we need to," an attorney told The Arizona Republic. The race tracks want to legalize video gaming at their facilities. A television ad targets "Joe Sixpack," according to an Arizona Daily Star analysis. Get the Story:
