Norton cited for Indian trust 'fraud'

The Bush administration is "on the run" for failing to fix the Indian trust fund, lead plaintiff Elouise Cobell told The London Independent.

"We've got them on the run," Cobell said. "The heavens are screaming for justice in this case, and now it's coming through for us."

Cobell accused the federal government of racism for never providing an accounting of funds owed to Indian people. "I find it very racist. If you just think about it, they have not given us proper accounting since 1887 on our fund," she told the paper.
