Calif. tribes promote economic success

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2002 Tribal and Indian gaming leaders are out in force at the Global Gaming Expo taking place this week in Las Vegas. California tribal representatives are promoting the success of gaming in their state. Voters in 2001 overwhelmingly authorized expansion of Indian casinos. A federal judge recently affirmed the rights of California tribes to start gaming. Get the Story:
