The family of a Nebraska couple killed during an accident with a Bureau of Indian Affairs employee sued the agency on Wednesday for $37 million.

The Ramaekers family alleges the BIA failed to implement or enforce policies regarding employees with drunk driving citations. Lloyd Larson has a history of alcohol-related infractions but was allowed to operate government vehicles.
