WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2002 Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas is not about to close, school president Karen Swisher told students on Tuesday. The school is facing a tight budget. But Swisher discounted rumors that allegedly originated with a faculty member who advised students to transfer pending closure. Get the Story:
