MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2002 The Bureau of Indian Affairs is hosting its first economic development summit this week in Phoenix, Arizona. A golf tournament to to raise money for diabetes research kicks off the event today. The rest of the week is filled with speeches from government officials, panels with tribal leaders, presentations of successful tribal businesses and workgroups with industry leaders. Get the Story:
