Native corp close to $2.5B contract

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2002 An Alaska Native regional corporation hopes to finalize a $2.5 billion defense contract. Chugach Alaska Corporation will supply the Reagan Test Site with public works, engineering, aviation and marine-support service. Two partners will provide other services. Chugach, which has 2,000 shareholders, recently emerged from bankruptcy protection in 2000. Get the Story:
