MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2002 Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), former chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, has missed 10 percent of votes since 1995. Only Sen. Jesse Helms (R-N.C.), who is in poor health and retiring this year, missed more, The Arizona Republic reports.
