Lummi healing pole makes stop in Wis.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 2002 Members of the Lummi Nation of Washington brought their healing pole to Wisconsin on Thursday as part of a cross-country journey to mark the September 11 terrorist attacks. The 13-foot cedar pole was carved to remember the children who died that day. The pole's final destination is New York state, where it will be erected at a park. Get the Story:
