Editorial: Tribal receiver might work

MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2002 Putting the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota into receivership might help reduce a $31 million debt, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader says in an editorial. But tribal members should fully explore their options before taking such a drastic step the paper writes. "Maybe - just maybe - receivership is the best option," the paper states.
