Pequot Tribe celebrates trust land

MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2002 The Bureau of Indian Affairs has taken nine acres of land into trust for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. A small ceremony was held to mark the transfer. The land will be used for homes. The tribe has 1,400 acres of trust land. Get the Story:
