A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit affecting an off-reservation casino proposed by the St. Regis / Akwesasne Mohawk Tribe of New York.

The tribe's traditional three chief government partnered with Park Place Entertainment to build a $500 million casino in the Catskills. A rival tribal group had joined with Catskills Development.

Catskills subsequently filed suit against Park Place. The case was dismissed by U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon.
