Wife of slain ex-cop unable to talk

FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 2002 The wife of an Alaska Native man killed last weekend is still not well enough to talk to police about the devastating incident. Patti Godfrey has undergone surgery twice. She was shot several times at her home. Her husband, Glenn Godfrey, the first Alaska Native to reach the highest level of the state police, was killed. Police say Karen Brand shot the Godfreys before turning the gun on herself. Get the Story:
