Nebraska Democrats are meeting this weekend for to choose a state chairman and reconsider its stance on gaming.

A delegate is expected to propose changing the party's opposition to expanded gaming. Stormy Dean, the party's candidate for governor, supports an initiative to allow video slot machines at bars and other locations.

If the initiative passes this November, it would pave the way for tribes to offer similar games.
