Missteps cited in tribal member's campaign

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2002 Ed McGaa, a member of the Oglala Lakota Tribe of South Dakota, is running into problems with his U.S. Senate campaign. McGaa is the Green Party's first candidate. But he isn't on file with federal elections and other officials. Green Party Chairman Cam Gordon said McGaa's campaign might reflect poorly on the party. Get the Story:
