Conn. tribe might buy stadium name rights

TUESDAY, JULY 16, 2002 A baseball stadium in Connecticut might be renamed for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. The tribe is being given first shot at naming rights for the Sen. Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. The new moniker would be the Mashantucket Pequot Field. Get the Story:
