Study: Don't spank your kids?

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2002 Research published in this week's issue of Psychological Bulletin suggests that spanking children is not good for them. A researcher at Columbia University's National Center for Children in Poverty analyzed 88 studies conducted over 62 years. Elizabeth Gershoff concludes that spanking by parents led to higher levels of aggression and antisocial behavior in some children. Get the Story:
