Mont. reservations see teen pregnancy

THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 2002 Teen birth rates in Montana dropped during a four-year period starting in 1996 but the state's reservations didn't always follow. Of the 10 counties that recorded an increase, more than half were within reservation boundaries. In Big Horn County, for instance, the Crow Tribe saw a 150 percent increase from 1996 to 2000. Small reservation populations mean that even minor changes can cause a jump, state health officials caution. Get the Story:
