Two Idaho tribes are seeing a legal challenge from state lawmakers and officials over a ballot initiative to legalize gaming in Indian Country.

Critics charge the initiative is vague on the definition of "Indian lands." The Nez Perce Tribe and the Coeur d'Alene Tribe insist gambling would only be legal on the reservation.
