THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2002 You've read the anecdotes about the Department of Interior officials and their experience with castration of certain animals. Now another official has a seemingly odd tale involving farm life. Well, not really. While at a House hearing yesterday, Paul Hoffman, a deputy assistant secretary, responded to a tongue-lashing by Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) by saying: "I have to say I haven't had such fun since pigs ate my little sister." The department opposes two bills Young introduced regarding Alaska Natives. Get the Story:
