Residents of a Maine town turned out overwhelmingly on Saturday to reject a proposed casino gaming.

The tally on casino question was 3,057 against 767, according to The Portland Press Herald. The question was non-binding but the Passamaquoddy Tribe and Penobscot Nation say they won't propose to build a casino where one isn't wanted.
