Meteor crash tied to dinosaur rise

FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2002 Research published in today's issue of Science suggests a link between the rise of dinosaurs and a meteor which hit the earth 200 million years ago. The crash caused the mass extinction of numerous species, scientists believe. Around the same time, dinosaurs began to evolve into larger animals. Get the Story:
