A special session to address Indian gaming in Arizona is about to be cut short by Gov. Jane Hull (R), the Arizona Republic reports today.

The session was called to address gaming compacts Hull signed with the state's tribes. But the proposal has languished after weeks of procedural bluffs and endless hearings.

"It was half racial discrimination, half Indian bashing," one lawmaker told the paper. "Where are we going with this?"
