Bombing range set near reservation

WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 2002 Fort Belknap tribal officials are welcoming the construction of an $11 million bombing test range near their reservation. The Montana Air National Guard said the training site will bring about a dozen jobs to the area. The tribes own part of the land in question and will get a 3 percent fee on each construction contract. Fort Belknap is home to the Assiniboine and the Gros Ventre tribes Get the Story:
