Norton scheduled for radio appearance

Secretary of Interior Gale Norton and Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb are scheduled to appear on the radio program Native America Calling this week.

The Bush officials will participate in a discussion on policies affecting Indian education. Entitled "Leave No Indian Child Behind," the show will air Wednesday.

President Bush has been promoting his administration's education agenda at recent appearances. McCaleb is set to engage in several tribal consultation meetings affecting Indian education starting in June.

Native America Calling airs at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
