The Navajo Nation is awaiting a response from a Utah school board regarding the Devil, a tribal spokesperson told The Salt Lake Tribune.

Tribal President Kelsey Begaye wrote a letter to oppose the Springville High School's Red Devil mascot. The board decided to keep the name anyway in response to local support.
