Tribes in Arizona are drafting a ballot initiative to support Indian gaming.

The initiative will reflect compacts that member tribes of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association signed with the state. The agreements are the subject of a bill in the state Legislature that has moved along at a snail's pace.
